Today I’m feeling super excited to show you my swatches & review of the NARSissist L’Amour Toujours L’Amour Eyeshadow Palette! What a mouth full of a name right? Chris had actually surprised me with it as a Valentine’s Day gift, and I’ve finally had the time to sit down and swatch the colors. Here’s what I think!
The packaging is absolutely sleek and travel friendly. The cover is a mirror with the NARSissist logo on it. The only drawback to this is that it’s very prone to leaving finger smudges and prints when handling.
Here are all the colors! You get 12 shades, consisting of shimmer, matte, and I would say just a few are more of like a satin. This palette has such a great variety to create day or night looks. I definitely love the versatility.
Here are the swatches from the first row. They don’t actually have the names listed on the bottom of the palette, they just have them in order by roman numerals. I went to the NARS website and found that they do actually have names. Above are the swatches from left to right. The names are I – Cream Bisque, II – Shimmering Pink Sand, III – Amethyst Ash, and IV – Black Truffle.
2nd row: (left to right) V – Golden Starlight, VI – Sunburst Copper, VII – Café Au Lait, and VIII – Pistol Grey.
3rd row: IX – Industrial Steel, X – Regal Blue, XI – Shimmering Taupe Cashmere, and XII – Shimmering Licorice.
The swatches you see do not have a base under them. I would say the color payoff of all of these shades are very good. That Regal Blue Color is insane! I love the highlights in this palette and I think they’re well suited for just about every skin color. This palette is certainly qualified to create a sultry smokey eye, but like I said before, it is also possible to come up with some light daytime looks as well.
Overall, I definitely recommend checking this palette out the next time you’re in the market for a new eyeshadow palette. The NARSissist L’Amour Toujours L’Amour Eyeshadow Palette is available at narscosmetics.com, select Sephora locations and sephora.com, and your local Nars cosmetics counter.
Now that I’ve played with the colors I can try out some looks! Have you tried this palette already? If you have, what do you think of it? What are your favorite colors? I hope you are all having an amazing week, and I’ll talk to you soon!
