I have some new workout clothes to show you that I found on a budget!
I got this whole outfit at Modell’s for a very affordable price!
The shorts and the top are both by Colosseum. Both pieces were under $10.00 each. Yes you read that right! I couldn’t find them on the Modell’s or the Colosseum website though. That’s ok, Champion has some tanks and shorts that are comparable in price. My sneakers are Under Armour and the style is MICRO G ASSERT V. The colors are blk/wht/npu. They are normally $69.99 but they were on sale for $49.99 I love my sneakers because they are more rounded in the toe, making it easier for walking and running. I’ve had Nikes in the past where the toe came to a little more of a point, and when I would run my toes would smash together. In some cases I had a couple of toes bleed because the corner of my toenail would rub against the toe next to it and eventually cut it open. (gross I know!)
I usually run/walk around my development using my Run Keeper app on my phone. I picked up these little 1 pound weights at Five Below for like $1.50 each. The main reason I use them is actually because when I’m walking/running outside, especially in the hot weather, my hands swell while I’m exercising and I can’t stand the feeling! The weights give me something to hold on to, plus I’ll extend them outwards and inwards to help tone my arms.
I usually do between 2 to 3 miles on average about 4 times a week. We have an ab machine in our storage unit so I started using that again lately too. I’ve been doing about 70 reps per session lately.
So that’s my workout gear on a budget and updated fitness routine! A big part of being a blogger is spending a majority of my time on the computer, so it’s important to get out of the house and get some exercise to maintain a healthy lifestyle. How many of you have desk jobs that prevent you from getting exercise? What do you do about it? Leave a comment below, and I’ll ttys.
