Recently I joined Retro Fitness to step up my fitness game. I walked/jogged basically all spring and summer, but from speaking with professionals in the field, I learned that the best way to stay fit is to rebuild the muscle that we lose as we age. I signed up for a personal trainer as well, to teach me how to target each muscle group, and make sure I was getting the proper nutrition I needed to get the most effective results from our sessions.
I’ve been hearing so much lately about the alkaline diet and it’s benefits, especially for digestive issues. The pH balance in your body is so crucial to it’s functionality and some believe that an alkaline approach can successfully treat cancer. A pH balanced body can help heal different conditions through nutrition.
I came across Trader Joe’s Alkaline Water + Electrolytes just a few days ago and I wanted to give it a try:
I just incorporated this water into my nutrition plan and so far I can tell you it tastes great! Just like a high quality spring water would taste. I figure I have nothing to lose by trying it right? I’m very curious to see if it will help my acid reflux and indigestion issues most of all.
Overall, I’m feeling great from my training sessions and I’m eating better than ever. I have an article coming up shortly all about my actual fitness routine with my trainer and what kind of exercises we do.
How many of you follow some type of pH balanced diet? Do you think it’s effective in keeping your body healthy? Are you a skeptic? Do you have any advice you can share if you are an alkaline enthusiast? Please leave your opinions below in the comments. Wishing you all great health and so much happiness!
