So how funny is this…I have a hangover today. From one drink. It was filled with mostly ice. I mean, really?! LOL! For those of you who don’t know me personally, I’m not a big drinker. I drink maybe a few times a year. No particular reason, I was just never big on alcohol. Plus I find the older I get, the lousier it makes me feel anyway.
So I wanted to tell you about a really fun event I went to last night at Amici III Ristorante in Linden, NJ. They held a Patio Party with the hottest line up of dj’s! The music was awesome, the food was outstanding, and outside the crowd was relaxed and enjoying the beats:
What did I wear to the party? Well I’m glad you asked! LOL! I went with this cute little white romper from Forever 21:
There’s the culprit that hung me over! LOL! You probably already know where I snagged my shoes from (I only talk about them every single second!) but incase you don’t, they are from Aldo. Ever since I bought them I’ve been having visions of white and gold outfits dancing in my head! My layering necklace is from Love Culture, Arm band from Laila Rowe, belt from Mandee, cuff is also Forever 21, and my clear clutch is from Arden B. which is no longer in business. It’s such a shame because I used to shop there all the time! A gold clutch would’ve worked equally as well for this look.
Anyway, let’s get back to the party.
DJ Control(left) and Detail Omo Alakentu.(right) Loved them!
E.V.R. was awesome.
Jason Falzone, aka “The Godfather of Dirty House” tearing the roof off as usual! I have to show him some additional love cause I have followed his music for a while. I’ve actually known Jason for, what is it now Jay, 20 years? He’s one of my best friends and his music is amazing!
Diana S. was the last one I had the chance to see before we left. I loved watching her perform because she dances in place while she’s in her zone. She’s seriously the cutest thing ever and her music is HOT!
We had to get going back home to Cassie Mae, but others in the music line up included David Tobon, Lily Tobon, SpinNice, and Danny T. I’ve actually seen Danny T. perform before and he’s one of my favorites too.
I’m so glad we went to this event, I haven’t had a really great time like that in a while. If you get a chance you should definitely visit Amici III, even if it’s just to go out for a nice dinner. They have an elegant dining room and the food is absolutely exquisite! I recommend the Mozzarella in Carozza for an appetizer. It’white bread pan-fried and baked and dipped in an egg batter with ham, topped with melted mozzarella cheese. Just looking at their menu makes me want to go back for dinner again.
If you like Sangria, you should check out Sangria night. They have other events too so I would give their Facebook page a “like” for all of the info on all the different parties and entertainment they have.
Alright my fellow fashionistas and foodies, I have to go feed Cassie, so I will talk to you all very soon. Enjoy your week!
