On Saturday October 12, 2013 I attended the very stylish and chic “Jersey Fashion Glamtacular & Thirty Something Magazine Launch Party”, produced by Melissa Gregg Productions. This red carpet event was all the rage featuring vendors, quite the au courant runway fashion show, and performances by singer/songwriter/musician Josh Zuckerman. DJ host Karim Abdel and DJ Jae T kept the music spinning all night as ticket sales helped to support Hometown Heroes/ Restore The Shore. What a wonderful cause!
I had to browse at all the fabulous products and services the vendors had to offer when I got there. There were so many fun things to look at and friendly people to talk to! Here are just a few of my favorites:
Taylor and Tessier offer handmade jewelry that is made from different hides and leathers, wire wrapping, coral, semi-precious gemstones and crystals! Celebrities such as the Kardashians have purchased pieces from them. How amazing!
I loved all the beautiful cuffs! Taylor and Tessier were featured in Glamour Magazine!
You can visit their website at www.taylorandtessier.com!
Then I browsed happily at Beachy Dreamz Boutique!
This is Dan and Dorian Shafer, the owners. They were so very friendly!
They had the cutest handbags! They also had men and women’s fragrances! How fun! You can shop their website at www.beachydreamz.net!
Meet Donna Grygiel, an independent consultant for Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski! Touchstone Crystal is a fun social shopping business where you earn income at your own pace. She was so fab and so were all of her pieces!
Then it was time for the fashion show! The first part was to showcase the Renee by Renee jewelry line. This collection is very unique consisting of handmade gemstone, beaded necklace sets, earrings, and bracelets, and have been worn by celebrities such as Shamar Moore of “Criminal Minds”, Rhea Seehorne of “Whitney”, and Toks Olagundoye of “The Neighbors”! For more information on Renee by Renee, visit www.reneebyrenee.com!
There were many pieces showcased in this fashion show, and I would love to show you them all, but let me just show you the ones that caught my eye the most just for time’s sake! For a full list of stores and designers featured in the show please read about them and where to purchase some of these looks in the Jersey Fashion Glamtacular & Thirty Something Magazine Launch Party Special Edition:
I loved this set! It wasn’t easy to zoom in on the pieces because the models were moving quickly as they were strutting their stuff, so bare with me a bit!
This red set is so chic! I loved how all the models wore black to make the pieces the main focus.
I love the jewelry with the matching eye shadow!
Men’s pieces are also available! Extraordinary!
This was my all time favorite!
After the Renee by Renee line was finished, singer/songwriter/musician Josh Zuckerman performed a few of his singles, starting with “Cause I’m Gone”.
Josh’s songs have been nominated for Outstanding Songwriter of the Year and for Outstanding Debut Male for the OMA music awards. Clips of his songs have appeared on the Kathy Griffin’s reality show “My Life on the D-List” on the Bravo network, and his music videos have been seen on MTV/LOGO TV’s The Click List, New Now Next, and is currently on MTV and VH1.com. Cool! You can download Josh’s new single “The Turn Around” and his other catchy tunes on www.cdbaby.com!
The models of the fashion show got their swag on with trendy and cool clothing and accessories by DARE, Taylor & Tessier, Couture Jewelry, Jewell, One Of A Kind, Valley Girls Boutique, Gfive2, Paparazzi and Park Lane, Jersey Fashion and Renee By Renee, just to name a few. I saw all sorts of looks from trendy club wear to everyday looks to even gowns! Check out some of the modern and fashion-forward looks that had me on the edge of my seat! There were over forty looks but I managed to narrow down 10 of my favorites:
I absolutely adore this colorful maxi dress!
The cut-out trend has become very popular and I love it on this dress!
My animal instincts had me on the prowl for this leopard number!
I would kill to accessorize the heck out of this!
So simple and elegant! Throw on a blazer or cardigan and you are good to go!
This dress is so funky! Someone’s ready to go to the club!
The asymmetrical cut and groovy pattern are fab!
I was instantly attracted to this flowy outfit!
I have to have this!! How amazing!
