Last night was an opportunity to experience something different. Chris and I went to an Eat Sleep Race Warehouse Wednesday event. Eat Sleep Race, (or ESR) is an apparel line created for those who are passionate about racing! Every second Wednesday of the month until October they host their Warehouse Wednesday event including a car show, their featured race car, their featured food truck, and for us fashionistas, a chance to shop their badass (or as I like to say B.A.) clothing line!
The DJ was spinning the latest hits as people walked around to browse and shop.
There were so many cool cars and toys to look at. Here’s a few of my favorites:
How cool is this?? It’s a big wheel drift bike! I would totally take this thing out for a spin. LOL! It goes up to 40 mph! Could you imagine Fashion Swain cruising by like “haaaay”!! LOL! Seriously though, I’ve never seen anything like this before and I thought it was awesome.
The featured Car was a Honda S2000.
You know I had to pose in front of it! My outfit is just a graphic tee with faux leather shorts. My tee is a couple years old but you can find graphic tees anywhere. ESL has some cool ones! If you want to get some faux leather shorts they have a really cool pair of Sam Edelman ones on clearance at Lord & Taylor. My gladiator sandals are from Mandee. They still have them. If you keep up with my blog you already know my rosary beads are from Aldo and they are my latest obsession!
This is the tee I bought last night! I’ve already cut the sleeves and neck off to make it a little bit more edgy. I’m definitely wearing it to the next Eat Sleep Race event!
Last night’s featured food truck was Mr. C’s Grease Trucks. Best known for their fat sandwiches. They had some fried favorites too like french fries and mozzarella sticks. You know, all the good stuff!
If you live near the Edison NJ area (or even if you’re further away) you should definitely come out! There are usually about 300 people or more on average that show up! Last night was a little light because they were forecasting storms for our area, but that never happened of course :( I hope to see some of you at the next one!
