How many of you, like me, have been wanting fuller lips but don’t want to risk the side effects of lip injections? Lip plumper glosses don’t work for me either… the plumping effect never lasts more than an hour and I end up with a red ring around my lips from them being irritated. There has to be an alternative right? There’s a chance I may have found it…my fingers are crossed!
I came across an article by MTV on a lip pumping device called Candylipz. It’s an extreme lip shaping system that plumps your lips with a lip plumping suction device made from silicone. It’s been featured on shows such as Today, the Insider, MTV News, TMZ, and Inside Edition. It’s clinically proven to be safe and dermatologist tested. You can even choose how much larger to make your lips. The most common side effect to this lip pump is a hickey type bruise that may appear around your lips during the first 7 to 10 days. They call this the conditioning period where you use the pump for a certain amount of minutes followed by a break, then rest the next day etc. so your lips adjust properly to the suction process and bruising never comes back. My view on this is:
1. It’s better than having my lips injected with needles and taking the risk of having serious side effects.
2. Lip injections cause bruising anyway.
3. This is much less expensive than injections.
I visited the website and after doing a little research I sat on the idea for a few days, then went ahead and ordered one. You can click the link above if you wish to do a little more fact finding for yourself. I will be following up with an update to see how well Candylipz will enhance my lips. Wish me luck!
