One of my favorite desserts on the planet is ice cream or frozen yogurt, especially during the spring and summer months! Sometimes it can be tough resisting that craving while living a healthy lifestyle of proper diet and exercise. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to enjoy some type of frozen treat without the guilt? I’ve recently discovered Arctic Zero, an entire line of fit frozen desserts claiming to be blended with nothing but premium ingredients, stripping them of all the fat and calories of ice cream and frozen yogurt.
As soon as the word started getting around about this dessert line, I headed to my local Shop Rite to see what type of Arctic Zero products they carried. I ended up bringing four flavors home from their Creamy Pints line: Vanilla Maple, Cookie Shake, Hint of Mint, and Purely Chocolate. The Creamy Pints total 35 calories per serving, and only 150 calories per pint. Sounds too good to be true, right?
After trying all four of these flavors from the Creamy Pints line, I would say they’re… ok. Each flavor tastes of the described name, however, they just have a watered down taste. I would recommend adding a little topping to each, like a bit of caramel syrup or a few chocolate chips to give them a bit more flavor. I may try putting some honey on top of the Vanilla Maple. If I had to choose favorites, I would say the Vanilla Maple and Cookie Shake taste the best out of the four that I tried.
I have to say, Arctic Zero has certainly caught my attention, and I’m very curious to see what the Chunky Pints are all about. They’re 75 calories per serving and 300 calories per pint. My guess is they may have a little more flavor to them because of the additional calories, but we’ll see. There just may be a part 2 to this review!
Have you tried Arctic Zero yet? What’s your opinion? If you’ve tried the Chunky Pints I would love your feedback on those since I haven’t tried them yet. I hope the rest of your week is positive and productive!
